The Government of Pakistan has officially finalized the schedule for the Hajj 2026 operation. This year, approximately 119,000 pilgrims will travel under the Government Scheme to perform their religious obligations.
Key Dates for Departure
The flight operations are set to begin on April 18, 2026. To manage the large influx of pilgrims efficiently, the departure schedule has been divided into two main phases:
- Phase 1: Arrival in Madinah (April 18 – May 3)For the first 15 days of the operation, all flights will land directly at Madinah Munawwarah. This allows pilgrims to visit the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) before proceeding to Makkah.
- Phase 2: Arrival in Jeddah (May 4 – May 21)From May 4 onwards, flights will begin landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, from where pilgrims will travel directly to Makkah to begin their Hajj rituals.
